Team work

A team of 120 skilled and motivated men and women is present within La Ferme du Pré to guarantee a high quality product and the best possible service to our customers.

 Personnel

This team under the management of Mr Philippe DOMET and Mr Bertrand DOMET, is divided in the following services:

  • Poultry farming
  • Packaging centre of shell eggs
  • Liquid egg workshop
  • Hard-boiled egg workshop
  • Telemarketing/Logistics
  • Marketing
  • Receiving/Shipping
  • Quality/Safety/Environment
  • Maintenance
  • Accounts
  • Composting/Treatment facility

 

All these teams are structured around the management in order to guarantee the production of a high quality product allowing us to meet our customers’ needs.

 

The field actions and interactions, as well as exchanges during the various meetings (management, quality/marketing, managers, workshops, etc.) ensure that defined objectives are met by management and entrepreneurial dynamism is sustained.

The social and societal facets :

  • Approach based on respect, awareness and involvement of employees.
  • Prevention and training of staff to protect themselves and their working tool (first aider, handling fire extinguishers, fire wardens, etc.).
  • Compliance with the legislation and the regulation (labour code, ILO, discrimination, etc.).
  • Respect for the freedom of association and union activity.

 

  • Social meetings :
  • Weekly meetings : the management meets with the workshops to evaluate production (previous week activity, difficulties experienced, etc.), quality (customer complaint, audit, customer visit, etc.) and needs and requirements of employees.
  • Committee for health, safety and working conditions (Comité d'hygiène, de sécurité et des conditions de travail - CHSCT) every quarter: the management of La Ferme du Pré, the occupational health doctor, the health and safety inspector, the MSA (Mutualité Sociale Agicole - Agricultural Social Mutual) adviser as well as the members of the CHSCT implement corrective actions, if necessary.
  • Work Council meetings.
  • Optimisation of work conditions and ergonomics at workstations (provision of PPE, preventive actions to avoid accidents, etc.).
  • Staff training according to their job (Manual Handling and Postures).
  • Support to charities: Téléthon, Red Cross, Restos du Cœur, etc.
