The company

Founded in 1977, La Ferme du Pré, located in Eragny sur Epte (Oise department), specialises in the production and processing of eggs. 

With its sites for rearing, laying, packaging and processing, La Ferme du Pré manages a flock of 1,200,000 hens and sells more than 500 million eggs every year under the watchful eye of a team of 120 people, distributed mostly by its fleet of 12 lorries. La Ferme du Pré generates a turnover of 55 million euros.

In order to guarantee the freshness of its produce, La Ferme du Pré collects eggs laid daily 6 days in a week.

  • 120,000 eggs are calibrated every hour
  • 120,000 are broken every hour
  • 30,000 eggs are cooked and peeled every hour                      

Half of this production is sold as shell eggs to supermarkets and to the catering industry; the other half is transformed into egg products under the trademark of Servis'Œuf.
